2007 Charities – Goal is to Raise $2,000 Combined Donations
 Spina Bifida Association - Since 1973, the Spina Bifida Association has been the only national voluntary health agency solely dedicated to enhancing the lives of those with spina bifida and those whose lives are touched by this challenging birth defect. Its tools are education, advocacy, research and service. This charity is close to Michael because his daughter was born with spina bifida and she is always an inspiration to him.
St. Jude Children’s Hospital - All donations go towards the research of cures for children facing cancer or other potentially fatal diseases. St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility anywhere. Discoveries made here have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) - The mission of SADD is to provide students with the best prevention and intervention tools possible to deal with the issues of underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving and other destructive decisions. MVP Insurance Group is involved in Teenager Safety Driving Programs that helps raise awareness with teen drivers.
Miracle League of the Triangle - The purpose of the Miracle League of the Triangle is to provide opportunities for children with mental or physical disabilities to play baseball as a team member in an organized league, and to develop and promote community support and sponsorship for the league. Their famous motto is “Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play Baseball.”
